This grant supports research projects that develop new knowledge and expertise to address the societal challenges of loneliness, exclusion, and social inequality in health. Emphasis is placed on collaboration between Norwegian research groups and relevant societal and business actors to promote sustainable health promotion, preventive measures, treatment, and services. Projects must involve end-users and demonstrate practical relevance and potential for implementation. Thematic areas include public health measures, diagnosis/treatment/rehabilitation, and quality and efficiency in health, care, and welfare services. Cross-sectoral, transdisciplinary, and humanities perspectives are encouraged.
