    Description

    The Long Island Unitarian Universalist Fund (LIUU Fund) is a field-of-interest advised fund at the New York Community Trust supporting progressive social change on Long Island for over 30 years. The fund is guided by Unitarian Universalist values and an advisory committee representing local congregations. It funds projects and organizations working to advance education and racial equity, environmental justice, immigrant and LGBTQ+ rights, women’s rights, leadership development, legal and legislative advocacy, and community organizing. The LIUU Fund’s mission is to dismantle systems of power, privilege, and oppression, and to foster solidarity, mutual respect, and inclusivity across Long Island communities.
