This program provides funding for long-term global health projects led by current Feinberg School of Medicine students at Northwestern University. The initiative aims to promote student engagement in global health by supporting immersive, sustained projects (6–12 months) that develop cross-cultural competencies, understanding of social determinants of health, and experience in clinical practice within resource-limited settings. Projects should address topics such as primary care, community health, maternal-child health, or broader global public health concerns, and must demonstrate strong mentorship both at Feinberg and the host institution.
