This fellowship honors archaeologist, Byzantinist, and photographer M. Alison Frantz, and supports advanced research in Late Antique through Modern Greek Studies (including Byzantine, Frankish, Post-Byzantine, and Ottoman periods) at the Gennadius Library in Athens. The award provides resources for full-time research and requires active participation in the academic life of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA). Fellows are expected to contribute to the scholarly output and resources of the Library.
