The M. H. Wiener Annual Fellowship for Archaeological Science provides support for researchers to conduct short-term, focused research projects at the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory for Archaeological Science, located at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA). The fellowship is designed for those addressing substantive research questions related to the ancient Greek world or adjacent areas, using interdisciplinary methods in archaeological sciences. The laboratory is particularly equipped for research in human skeletal biology, archaeobiological remains, environmental studies, geoarchaeology, and the study of ancient materials. Fellows are encouraged to actively participate in the ASCSA academic community in Athens through seminars, colloquia, workshops, and field trips.
