--- ## Description This funding opportunity seeks proposals for a youth-focused water conservation campaign in Jordan, leveraging American experience in public engagement and water-saving strategies. The initiative aims to raise awareness and drive behavioral change among Jordanians aged 16–25 through creative, culturally relevant social media campaigns, particularly via Instagram reels and youth influencers. The project’s broader goal is to foster a culture of water stewardship, support Jordan’s water security, and highlight U.S. expertise in resource management and community engagement. Successful proposals will demonstrate a strong track record in youth-led direct-action campaigns, established connections with U.S. and Jordanian experts, and experience in social media and youth engagement. Projects should be designed to be measurable, sustainable, and adaptable to the Jordanian context, with clear strategies for monitoring, evaluation, and long-term impact. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: September 6, 2025 (by 11:59 p.m. Jordan Time) - Anticipated project start date: September 30, 2025 - Expected notification for unsuccessful applicants: by October 1, 2025 --- ## Funding Amount - Total estimated program funding: $150,000 - Award ceiling: $150,000 - Award floor: $100,000 - Expected number of awards: 1 - Project period: up to 18 months --- ## Eligibility Eligible applicants include: - U.S. or Jordanian not-for-profit organizations (including think tanks, civil society, and NGOs) - Public and private educational institutions (U.S. or Jordanian) Additional requirements: - Demonstrated prior experience working in Jordan and with youth - Prior experience with social media campaigns aimed at awareness and action - Only one proposal per organization (multiple proposals lead to ineligibility) - All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and active SAM.gov registration - Jordanian organizations must comply with the Government of Jordan’s foreign funding approval process Individuals are not eligible to apply. --- ## Application Process - **Submission method:** All applications must be submitted by email to [AmmanGrants@state.gov](mailto:AmmanGrants@state.gov).
