    Description

This opportunity, under the Empower to Grow (E2G) Program (formerly the 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program), funds established organizations to provide innovative, hands-on, in-person manufacturing training and technical assistance to eligible small manufacturing businesses across the United States. The program aims to address workforce shortages, operational inefficiencies, and limited access to contract opportunities for small manufacturers, with a focus on supporting high-growth and underserved business segments.

Funded activities must be unique and not duplicate existing SBA services, and should include workforce development, technical skills training, and business development assistance in key manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, ship building, industrial machinery, food processing, advanced manufacturing, robotics, and more. Awardees are expected to collaborate with SBA offices, resource partners, and other public and private sector organizations to maximize program impact.
