Description
The Marc R. de Leval Fellowship, administered by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Foundation, supports early career congenital heart surgeons—both international and domestic—who have recently completed a congenital heart surgery fellowship. The program enables recipients to spend two to three months at a host institution of their choice, focusing on clinical techniques in congenital heart surgery while fostering professional relationships with leaders in the field. Fellows are expected to secure their own institutional assignment and specify their training period in the application. The fellowship is designed to promote skill development, knowledge transfer, and international collaboration in congenital heart surgery.
