Description
The fellowship offers early career cardiothoracic and thoracic surgeons—who have recently completed a congenital heart surgery fellowship—the opportunity to spend two to three months at an institution of their choice studying advanced congenital heart surgery clinical techniques. The program aims to foster international collaboration, hands-on learning, and the development of global professional relationships with leading congenital heart surgeons. Administered by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Foundation, the fellowship is designed to enhance recipients’ clinical expertise and broaden their professional network in congenital heart surgery.
