Description
This grant provides funding to Ohio law enforcement agencies for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of marine patrol units. The primary goal is to enhance marine safety and law enforcement presence on Ohio waterways by supporting agencies that operate or seek to launch marine patrol activities. The program does not fund fire boats, rescue boats, motors, trailers, or related equipment. Recipients must comply with monthly and annual reporting requirements to document activities and use of funds.
