--- ## Description This opportunity from the U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan’s Public Diplomacy Section funds projects that promote U.S. best practices and values to deepen bilateral ties through two main areas: sports diplomacy and digital/AI skills development. Programs must include a U.S. element—such as involvement of U.S. experts, institutions, or educational resources—and should aim to foster sustainable cooperation between the U.S. and Kazakhstan, especially outside Kazakhstan’s largest cities. Applicants may propose projects under one of two priority goals: - **Deepening Kazakh-American Ties Through Sports:** Projects that use sports to build mutual understanding, empower communities, and highlight American values such as teamwork, community engagement, and sports management. - **Equipping Young Professionals with In-Demand Technical Skills:** Projects that share U.S. expertise in digital, AI, and communication skills to boost employability, entrepreneurship, and U.S.-Kazakhstan business partnerships in high-growth sectors. Competitive proposals will demonstrate sustainability beyond the grant period and clear, measurable outcomes. --- ## Due Dates - **Application Deadline:** July 17, 2025, 11:59 PM (GMT+5) All applications must be received by the stated deadline. Late submissions will not be considered. --- ## Funding Amount - **Award Range:** $10,000 to $40,000 per project - **Expected Number of Awards:** 4 to 8 (depending on funding and proposal budgets) - **Project Duration:** 9–12 months (all projects should be completed within 12 months) - **Anticipated Start Date:** October 1, 2025 Funding is subject to availability.
