Summary: Cooperative agreement to establish a national center for maternal and child health (MCH) workforce development, training, and technical assistance.
This opportunity supports the establishment of a National Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Workforce Development and Training Center. The Center will deliver training, technical assistance, and workforce development initiatives to strengthen the current and future MCH public health workforce. Its primary focus is to equip state Title V MCH Services Block Grant Program leaders, staff, and other MCH professionals with the skills and resources needed to address MCH needs and improve health outcomes for women, children, and families nationwide.
The program merges the functions of the previous MCH Workforce Development Center and MCH Navigator, aiming to provide comprehensive, accessible, and high-quality training through both intensive and self-paced formats, an online learning platform, academic-practice partnerships, and targeted outreach.
