Description
This program funds research and partnership activities that develop, expand, strengthen, or sustain programs aligned with the mission of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Supported areas include, but are not limited to: metrology, standards, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, advanced communications, advanced manufacturing, U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness, measurements in sciences, neutron research, and coordination of the U.S. standards system. Multiple NIST offices and laboratories participate, each with distinct technical focus areas.
