Description
This UN Women call for proposals seeks a responsible national partner to conduct the Measuring Opportunities for Women in Peace Operations (MOWIP) Assessment for the National Army in Moldova. The project, supported by the Elsie Initiative Fund, aims to identify barriers and opportunities for women’s participation in UN peace operations, inform policy reforms, and strengthen institutional capacity within Moldova’s security sector. The assessment will use a globally recognized methodology involving fact-finding forms, key decision-maker interviews, and structured surveys across military ranks and units. The selected partner will collaborate closely with UN Women, the National Army, and the Cornell University Gender and Security Sector Lab (GSS Lab) for technical support and data analysis.
