Description
This scholarship is designed to support medical students who are committed to a career in cardiothoracic surgery and who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds or have overcome significant adversity. In addition to financial support, recipients benefit from mentorship by AATS members, networking opportunities, and participation in special sessions at the AATS Annual Meeting. The program aims to foster the next generation of leaders in cardiothoracic surgery by providing resources, guidance, and exposure to leading professionals in the field.
