Description
This grant funds the first phase of establishing the Medicines Manufacturing Data Institute (MMDI), a national, federated data hub for the UK medicines manufacturing sector. The aim is to build a strong consortium, develop a blueprint for the institute, and prepare for a larger Phase 2 collaborative R&D award. Funded activities include stakeholder engagement, use case development, governance planning, and creation of a strategic roadmap for the MMDI. The initiative is designed to enhance sector-wide data sharing, drive innovation, and improve the efficiency and competitiveness of UK medicines manufacturing.
