Description
This opportunity funds the installation of Wireless Crossing Nearside Station Stop technology at key crossings within the Metrolink system network in Southern California. The project aims to enhance safety and alleviate congestion at intersections near several Metrolink stations, including locations in Chatsworth, Sylmar, Palmdale, and Sun Valley. The grant is part of the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements Program and is intended to support transportation technology solutions that improve both safety and operational efficiency for rail systems.
