Description
This opportunity from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) funds a single not-for-profit organization to administer, coordinate, and expand Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) and adjacent systems transformation programs across New York State. The selected contractor will manage CIT site selection, coordinate and deliver specialized training, provide technical assistance, and oversee system-wide transformation efforts to improve responses to mental health crises. The program aims to foster partnerships between law enforcement, mental health, and community organizations to reduce stigma and unnecessary criminal justice involvement for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises.
