Summary: Supports collaborative research and training in advanced crystallography at the MicroMAX beamline, with emphasis on life sciences, health, and sustainability.
The MicroMAX Collaborative Research Grants aim to strengthen and expand the user community at the MicroMAX beamline, part of the MAX IV Synchrotron in Lund, Sweden. This program supports high-quality collaborative research projects that utilize the unique capabilities of MicroMAX in macromolecular and serial-synchrotron crystallography, including time-resolved experiments. The grants foster Danish and international collaborations, promote expertise in advanced crystallography within Danish non-profit research organizations, and encourage training of early career researchers. Projects should align with the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s strategic focus areas: biomedicine, health sciences, sustainability, biotechnology, natural and technical sciences, or data science, with a clear emphasis on potential applications in health or sustainability.
