The Mid-Career Support Program is an annual internal funding initiative at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, designed to help recently tenured Assistant or Associate Professors advance significant scholarly or creative projects. The program provides either 1–2 courses of release time or the equivalent in direct research funds (currently $7,000) for the following academic year. Its goal is to facilitate impactful research and creative work in the early post-tenure period, especially for faculty without other sources of course release.
