The MIND Prize Initiative, funded by Pershing Square Philanthropies, empowers early-to-mid-career investigators at U.S. research institutions to pursue innovative, high-risk neuroscience research. The program seeks to catalyze breakthroughs in understanding, predicting, preventing, and treating neurodegenerative diseases (NDDs) by supporting creative scientists willing to challenge conventional paradigms. Projects may span basic or translational neuroscience, including (but not limited to) neurobiology, brain imaging, machine learning, drug delivery, and synthetic biology. The initiative encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches and provides awardees with access to a vibrant network of peers, industry mentors, and special events.
