The Mindich Program in Engaged Scholarship (MPES) Faculty Curricular Innovation Awards provide support for Harvard faculty in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) to develop new undergraduate courses or substantially redesign existing ones, with a focus on civic and community engagement. The program encourages courses that emphasize collaboration, public engagement, and civic purpose, whether through community-engaged assignments, partnerships with external organizations, or significant public-facing components. Proposals are welcome from all undergraduate disciplines, and both departmental and general education courses, as well as freshman seminars, are eligible.
