The Mini-Grants Program from the Community Foundation of Elmira-Corning and the Finger Lakes is designed to help nonprofit organizations respond rapidly to unforeseen needs, opportunities, or emergent issues within Chemung and Southeastern Steuben counties, New York. Funding is intended for new, small-scale projects that fall outside the Foundation’s larger, scheduled grant cycles and could not have been predicted or planned for. Projects that are annual, ongoing, or previously planned are not eligible. The program prioritizes initiatives that address pressing, unexpected community problems and are able to demonstrate immediate impact.
