The Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) Space Technology Artemis Research (M-STAR) is a NASA initiative through the Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM). Its goal is to enhance the contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) in the future of space exploration. The program provides substantial funding for research and capacity-building projects in space technology, targeting institutions that serve underrepresented groups in STEM.
