Description
The U.S. Mission to New Zealand, through its Public Diplomacy Section in Australia, invites proposals for projects that advance U.S. economic, commercial, and security interests in Australia. This Annual Program Statement (APS) seeks to fund initiatives that promote American leadership and foster mutual understanding between the United States, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. Projects must address at least one of the following strategic goals:
- Promote flag football in Australia
- Combat antisemitism through Holocaust education
- Strengthen Pacific Islands partnership by highlighting shared cultural values (arts, cultural heritage preservation, education, and training)
All proposals must include a clear connection to American experts, organizations, institutions, or cultural elements to promote understanding of U.S. policy and perspectives. Cooperative agreements will be awarded for projects with a duration of up to 24 months.
