Description
The Missouri Veterans and Job Opportunity Grant Program supports Missouri employers who hire individuals from federally defined Targeted Groups, including veterans facing significant barriers to employment. The program awards grants equal to 25% of the employer’s federal Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) claim for eligible Missouri employees. At least half of the annual allocation is reserved for employers paying wages to qualified veterans, with the remainder available for other targeted groups. Funding is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until the annual allocation is exhausted or the application deadline is reached.
