--- ## Description This funding opportunity aims to enhance the modelling and understanding of mitigation pathways for Ozone Depleting Substances and Fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases), particularly in the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump sectors. The call supports the development of open-access modelling tools, software, and data to inform regional and national F-gas use and emission scenarios under various policy frameworks, including those aligned with or exceeding the Kigali Amendment and the Montreal Protocol. Projects should: - Improve knowledge of F-gas and Ozone Depleting Substance pathways, mitigation options, and their interactions with energy system decarbonisation. - Develop and expand modelling capacity for F-gas use and alternatives, especially at the national level and in the context of the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump sectors. -
