Description
This opportunity funds the establishment and operation of a National Center for Accessible Education Videos under the Educational Technology, Media, and Materials for Individuals with Disabilities Program. The Center will select, acquire, caption, provide audio description and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, and distribute educational media and materials through a free, online loan service for eligible users. The program aims to improve educational outcomes for children and youth with disabilities by increasing access to high-quality, accessible educational media, in alignment with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

- Expanding the availability and use of captioned, audio described, and ASL-interpreted educational media for early childhood and K-12 settings.
- Supporting educators, providers, and families in accessing and utilizing accessible materials.
