Description
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research Programs offers the Awards for Faculty grant program to support humanities research conducted by individual faculty and staff members at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). This program is designed to strengthen the humanities at these institutions by encouraging and expanding research opportunities.
Awards fund scholarly research projects that contribute valuable knowledge to humanities scholars, students, and/or general audiences. The program supports a wide range of humanities disciplines including history, literature, philosophy, archaeology, languages, and related fields.
The NEH Division of Research Programs is known for supporting diverse projects, from editions of historical texts to studies in cultural heritage, and the Awards for Faculty program offers flexible fellowships tailored to the needs of faculty at HBCUs, HSIs, and TCUs.
