Description
This grant opportunity funds land acquisition and construction projects that support the mission of the National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) in designated estuarine areas across U.S. coastal states and territories. The program aims to strengthen the protection of key land and water areas, enhance long-term conservation for research and education, and support facility and exhibit construction meeting high sustainability and resiliency standards. Projects may include land acquisition, facility construction or upgrades, planning and design, and acquisition of vehicles or vessels critical to reserve operations.
