This opportunity provides funding through NOAA’s National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) Land Acquisition and Construction Program for projects that support the long-term protection, research, and educational missions of designated estuarine reserves in the U.S. and its territories. Funding may be used for land acquisition, construction or enhancement of reserve facilities, planning and design activities, and critical vehicle or vessel needs. Projects must align with NERRS goals, focus on enhancing habitat protection, infrastructure resiliency, and sustainability, and incorporate nature-based solutions where possible.
