Description
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is seeking applications for the creation of statues for the National Garden of American Heroes, a new public space dedicated to celebrating key figures in American history. This initiative aims to honor statesmen, visionaries, and innovators who have shaped the nation, with the statues to be installed in the Garden as part of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in July 2026. Selected artists will design and produce lifelike, classical-style statues of individuals from a pre-approved list, contributing to a national effort to recognize America’s cultural, scientific, economic, and political heritage.
