Description
This program is designed to enhance the technical capacity and efficiency of the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) Estimation System. The primary goals are to improve the timeliness and accuracy of national crime and arrest estimates, refine statistical measurement methodologies, and support the work of state Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) programs. The initiative aims to strengthen the infrastructure for crime data collection and analysis in the United States, enabling more effective and timely data-driven decision-making by policymakers, researchers, and justice system stakeholders.
