Description
This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from NOAA Fisheries (National Marine Fisheries Service) invites proposals for special projects and programs that advance the NOAA Fisheries strategic plan and mission goals. The BAA is designed to support research, education, outreach, and innovative activities not addressed through NOAA Fisheries’ regular competitive programs. Projects must align with one or more of NOAA Fisheries’ mission goals, such as sustainable fisheries management, protected species recovery, and ecosystem stewardship.
Applicants should submit to the BAA for the NOAA Line Office that best fits their project focus. This BAA is not intended to fund existing NOAA awards or projects that directly benefit NOAA (such projects should be supported by procurement contracts).
