This opportunity supports the operation of the National Long-Term Care Ombudsman Resource Center (NORC). The center will provide targeted technical assistance, expert training, and resources to the 53 State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs and their networks nationwide. The goal is to enhance the skills, knowledge, and management capacity of state programs, enabling them to more effectively advocate for residents in long-term care facilities and address systemic risks to their rights and safety. The center will also facilitate peer-to-peer exchange, host an annual State Ombudsman conference, and maintain a national website of resources for program representatives.
