    Description

National PTA, in collaboration with The Allstate Foundation, offers this grant to help local PTAs and PTSAs expand their capacity for youth-designed and youth-led service. Youth-adult teams identify a school or community need, design a project, lead its implementation, and evaluate its impact. The program supports youth leadership while building sustainable capacity for authentic youth-adult partnership across the PTA network.

Youth must meaningfully shape and lead the work, with adult leaders acting as facilitators rather than providing a pre-designed plan. Service may take the form of a one-time event, a series of events, or an ongoing initiative. Projects should offer a realistic response to a need identified through young people’s experiences and observations within their communities.
