This opportunity funds a single organization to serve as the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging. The Center will provide leadership, technical assistance, training, and resources to the national aging network, supporting the implementation and scaling of senior nutrition programs under the Older Americans Act (OAA), Title III-C. The Center will act as a central connector for both discretionary and formula-funded nutrition grants, promote best practices, support data collection and reporting, build partnerships, and help ensure the long-term sustainability and measurable impact of senior nutrition services for older adults.
The funded Center will deliver individualized, tiered technical assistance, expert-led training, and Section 508-compliant resources. It will develop and maintain a secure, cloud-based national database for participant-level data, provide real-time dashboards, and facilitate peer-to-peer learning and national events such as Malnutrition Awareness and Celebrate the Senior Nutrition Program. The Center is expected to support measurable improvements in food security, socialization, and health outcomes among older adults.
