This opportunity funds National Resource Centers on Older Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiian Programs, supporting projects that aim to improve knowledge and service delivery for elders in these communities. Centers will provide technical assistance, subject matter expertise, and best practices to Title VI grantees, tribal organizations, and other stakeholders. Projects must address key concerns such as health, long-term care (including in-home support), elder abuse, and related issues affecting older American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian populations. Funded centers are expected to gather and disseminate data, conduct research, and deliver training and technical assistance to entities serving these elders, with the goal of measurable improvements in service and outcomes.
