The Cyberinfrastructure for Sustained Scientific Innovation (CSSI) program enables flexible, responsive funding for projects that address evolving needs in research cyberinfrastructure (CI). The program emphasizes integrated CI services, measurable delivery and usage targets, and building sustainable communities. It supports three award classes:
Projects must demonstrate significant scientific impact, community engagement, and long-term sustainability. Proposals should align with the priorities of relevant NSF divisions and are strongly encouraged to be interdisciplinary.
