Description
The National Theater Project Creation & Touring Grant, administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA), supports the creation and U.S. touring of new, artist-led, devised ensemble theater projects. The program emphasizes artistic excellence, cultural and aesthetic diversity, meaningful partnerships, and broad community engagement. In addition to funding, grantees join a national network of advisors and presenters to foster collaboration and expand opportunities for touring and audience engagement. This is the final cycle of the grant in its current form, and NEFA has announced that program changes are forthcoming.
