Description
This opportunity funds the operation of a National Training Center to deliver training and technical assistance to all Office of Population Affairs (OPA)-funded Title X family planning service delivery grantees and Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program recipients. The Center will be responsible for building the capacity, knowledge, and skills of personnel working in these programs to ensure effective program management and delivery of high-quality services.
The Center will be funded through two cooperative agreements—one for Title X and one for TPP—constituting a single National Training Center. Applicants must submit a single application covering both components.
Title X Component
- Focuses on ensuring access to and implementation of high-quality family planning service delivery.
- Builds the capacity of the Title X workforce.
- Strengthens health information and technology.
- Promotes financial sustainability for Title X grantees.
TPP Component
- Focuses on program design, implementation, and evaluation for TPP projects.
- Builds the capacity of TPP project staff.
- Engages key stakeholders in teen pregnancy prevention.
- Promotes best practices in quality improvement, evaluation, communication, dissemination, and sustainability.
