--- ## Description This opportunity provides funding for an organization to support the operations of the National Tribal Air Association (NTAA), with the goal of enhancing Tribal engagement in EPA Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) air quality planning, regulatory, policy, and implementation activities. The selected recipient will deliver expert analysis, facilitate national coordination, and empower Tribes to participate effectively in federal air quality management processes. The program aims to strengthen the NTAA’s mission of advancing air quality management policies and programs that address the needs and legal status of Federally recognized American Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages. Key activities include: - Providing administrative, logistical, and technical support to the NTAA Executive Committee and member Tribes. - Delivering expert analysis on EPA air program planning, rulemakings, and policy actions relevant to Tribes. - Facilitating communication and outreach between Tribes, the NTAA, and EPA. - Organizing an annual conference to advance Tribal air quality knowledge and foster collaboration. --- ## Due Dates - Application Deadline: October 1, 2025, 11:59 pm ET - Anticipated Notification of Selection: November 2025 - Anticipated Award Notification: January 2026 --- ## Funding Amount - Total available funding: Up to $1,675,000 - Expected number of awards: 1 - Project period: Up to 5 years (anticipated annual allocation: ~$335,000) - No cost sharing or matching required --- ## Eligibility Eligible applicants include: - States (including the District of Columbia) - Local governments - U.S. territories and possessions - Federally recognized Indian Tribes - Public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, and laboratories - Other public and private non-profit organizations **Note:** For-profit organizations and 501(c)(4) non-profits that engage in lobbying are not eligible. Applicants must comply with all application instructions and deadlines.
