    Description

    The HOIHI Grant Program, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Interior Business Center in partnership with the Office of Native Hawaiian Relations (ONHR), aims to implement the Native American Tourism and Improving Visitor Experience Act (NATIVE Act). This program supports Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) in advancing culturally grounded tourism that respects Hawaii’s natural and cultural resources, uplifts traditional knowledge, and increases economic opportunities for Native Hawaiians. Grants are intended to help NHOs develop business opportunities, provide cultural education experiences, and steward Hawaii’s sacred sites and resources, while aligning with Administration priorities and fostering economic sustainability.
