The program aims to foster awareness and understanding of NATO’s evolving role in transatlantic security, bridging academic research and policy relevance. Scholars will affiliate with a Belgian university, think tank, or similar institution of their choice, and will have facilitated access to officials at NATO and the U.S. Mission to NATO. Grantees are encouraged to contribute to transatlantic dialogue, engage with policy practitioners, give public talks, mentor students, and participate in local community activities.
