This opportunity, administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWC Dahlgren) on behalf of the Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC), seeks proposals from accredited U.S. colleges and universities for research projects supporting the science, technology, and engineering needs of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Centers. The program aims to foster cutting-edge research, strengthen the talent pipeline for naval engineering, and provide hands-on opportunities for students in areas of national defense and advanced naval systems.
Proposals should address one of the technical topics outlined by the participating Naval Warfare Centers, spanning areas such as naval architecture, robotics, advanced sensors, materials science, artificial intelligence, cyber-physical systems, hypersonics, and more. The program emphasizes student involvement (undergraduate and/or graduate) and collaboration with Navy scientists and engineers.
