Description
This opportunity supports clinician scientists who play critical leadership roles in the development, implementation, and oversight of National Cancer Institute (NCI)-funded clinical trials, but who do not serve as principal investigators on research project grants. The award is designed to provide stable salary support and professional autonomy, enabling these individuals to sustain their research careers and continue contributing to the NCI clinical trials enterprise. The program specifically targets those who lead or participate in national clinical trials, implement NCI trials at their institutions, and serve on scientific review and monitoring committees.
