The NEA Catalyst Grant is designed to accelerate the careers of early-career scientists by providing seed funding for hypothesis-driven research in eczema. The goal is to help promising investigators establish new research directions and gather preliminary data that can support applications for larger-scale funding (such as NIH grants). Projects must address at least one of the NEA's five research priorities: cutting-edge basic and translational science, novel insights into eczema heterogeneity, innovations in clinical practice and care, understanding and alleviating disease burden, or eczema prevention.
