The NEA Engagement Grant is designed to spark innovative, early-stage research in eczema by providing small-scale funding for emerging investigators. The grant supports projects that test new concepts, pilot experiments, or explore novel data analyses, with the goal of generating preliminary data that may serve as the foundation for future, larger proposals. Funded projects must address at least one of the following NEA research priorities: cutting-edge basic and translational science, novel insights into eczema heterogeneity, innovations in clinical practice and care, understanding and alleviating disease burden, or eczema prevention. This mechanism is intended as a springboard for new research lines in eczema.
