Negotiation Skills Training - September 2026 is an in-person, week-long program designed to enhance negotiation abilities through interest-based approaches tailored to Indigenous and community contexts. Participants will engage in experiential learning, case studies, and reflective activities to develop and practice negotiation strategies. The curriculum is guided by Indigenous Elders and incorporates traditional wisdom, land-based learning, and cultural teachings. Participants will gain practical skills in clarifying interests and positions, preparing for negotiations, and developing inclusive, purposeful negotiation plans. The program is suitable for Indigenous leaders, government negotiators, policy advisors, private sector representatives, and support staff involved in negotiations with Indigenous communities.
