Summary: Supports NetVUE member colleges in expanding campus-wide vocational exploration programs that connect students’ personal development with career preparation, including potential community partnerships.
Key Information: Applicants must be NetVUE members and cannot hold another active NetVUE grant (with limited exceptions).
This grant program is designed to help NetVUE member colleges and universities expand and integrate vocational exploration and discernment initiatives across academic and co-curricular programs. Projects may focus on any stage of undergraduate education and are encouraged to connect the development of students’ philosophies of life with career preparation. The grant supports institution-wide engagement, faculty and student participation, and (optionally) partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, or community organizations to enhance professional readiness. A special initiative offers higher funding for proposals emphasizing community partnerships.
The program aims to build institutional capacity for sustained vocation-related activities, supporting innovative programming, professional development, and campus-community collaborations. Proposals should outline a four-year plan, with the first three years funded by the grant and matching donations, and the fourth year supported by institutional resources.
