This opportunity supports the development of a single, interdisciplinary NetworkPlus focused on property flood resilience (PFR) in the UK. The initiative is a direct response to the FloodReady review and aims to bring together researchers in engineering, environmental science, social science, and related disciplines, alongside industry, community groups, and other stakeholders. The NetworkPlus will coordinate research and innovation activities to address the challenges of mainstreaming PFR, facilitate knowledge exchange, support testbeds for evaluating resilience measures, and develop a collaborative research roadmap. Activities may include workshops, events, secondments, flexible funding for high-risk projects, and capacity-building across sectors.
