Description
This opportunity supports innovative, high-impact research on neurofibromatosis (NF) through the Synergistic Idea Award (SIA) mechanism, administered by the Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) as part of the Neurofibromatosis Research Program (NFRP). Projects must involve two or three Principal Investigators (PIs) who bring complementary, synergistic expertise to address a central problem or question in NF research. Applications must include relevant preliminary and/or published data. The program encourages multidisciplinary and multi-institutional collaborations, with the goal of fostering new research directions, addressing neglected issues, and promoting translational and clinical studies (excluding clinical trials).
